Taking Trade Shows to Customers

Minister for Transport and Owen Griffiths

Trade shows require huge investment in time, space, stand construction and associated PR activity…and this effort is based on an assumption that lots of people will attend.

Harvest has just launched a new video service that uses the power of social media and e-communication to take trade show communication directly to key audiences…so even if they can’t physically be with you, they can see what they’re missing!

The service involves four steps:

  1. Creation of a script
  2. Filming a conducted tour of the stand before the show opens
  3. Editing and uploading (to client website or Harvest YouTube channel) a 2 minute hi res video within two hours of shooting
  4. Same morning sharing and emailing of video content via branded e-shot template and social networks

Among the first benefit from this service is Parkeon, a long-term client of Harvest.

“We liked the whole concept from the moment it was suggested, because it supported our position as an innovative company,” says Gavin Trimnell, Parkeon Head of UK Sales. “The video was broadcast-quality and available online the same morning, so those customers and stakeholders unable to attend could still be with us in a virtual sense.  We even managed to include the Transport Minister in the filming.”
