New Commercial Manager is Welcomed Aboard

Ferryspeed, the largest independent shipping operator to the Channel Islands, is pleased to welcome on board Dean Sotnick (48) as Head of Sales and Group Development.
With nearly 30 years experience in the UK commercial freight sector, Dean joins the company from Condor Logistics, formerly Commodore Express. Working from the Portsmouth depot in Hilsea, Dean will use his wealth of inside industry knowledge to promote the services of Ferryspeed whilst working alongside its Profreight division that specialises in the shipment of furniture, fine arts, antiques and household removals.
Dean will also be responsible for expanding offshore island routes to the Isle of Wight and Isle of Man and UK transport through its partners. Dean said: “After 29 years’ with Condor Logistics, I value the new challenge and fantastic opportunity to work with Ferryspeed. I want to raise the profile of and build awareness of Ferryspeed and its Profreight division to a wider audience in the market place and at the same time develop offshore island routes and build relationships with new and existing customers in order to move the business onwards and upwards.”

Having only been with the company a matter of weeks, Dean has been instrumental in developing a new look, new feel, website for Ferryspeed – he has been actively pushing the project forward, understanding the importance of having an informative website for customers to view that is engaging and reflective of company brand and values.
