Rail Europe Arrives on Evolvi Platform

Rail Europe Inc., the largest distributor of European rail products, has selected Evolvi Rail Systems as its partner for online UK rail bookings originating in USA, Canada and Mexico. The Evolvi platform – already the preferred system among 8 of the top 10 UK travel management companies – will support Rail Europe’s point-to-point ticketing offer to its customer base served by the Rail Europe North America operation (www.agent.raileurope.com). “Rail Europe is proud to be able to offer North American travellers the same rail ticket prices that are available in Great Britain” said President and CEO, Frederic Langlois. “As a travel company, we are aware of the necessity of being competitive and offering value, affordability and a convenient booking and exchange process to our customers. The agreement we have reached with the Association of Train Operating Companies based in Britain – and our technology partnership with Evolvi - allows us to do this for the first time in North America.” Evolvi worked with the Rail Europe not only to provide the services that power the UK rail element of the website but also assisted in the delegated authority accreditation process with RSP (Rail Settlement Plan).
