EVOLVI RAIL SYSTEMS - ARRIVING SOON AT READING
28th June 2011Evolvi Rail Systems, the UK's leading TMC-exclusive online rail booking and fulfilment service, is creating a new operational headquarters and customer support centre in Reading, bringing together its Help Desk team and its technical specialists in a move that will support the company's growth plans.
The investment by Evolvi will merge support functions currently located in Orpington and in Henley-on-Thames to enhance the service offered to its TMC customer-base, which includes eight of the top 10 TMCs in the UK.
“Our decision to bring all our operational activities and customer-facing services together under one roof in Reading is a key element in our strategy for growth,” says Ken Cameron, Evolvi Rail Systems’ Managing Director.
“This co-location will ensure that we are best placed both to respond to customer enquiries and to roll out technical enhancements. The first major project for this new centre will be to support the launch later this year of the all-new Evolvi platform, exclusively available to TMCs.”
Evolvi’s online system is the preferred choice of the TMC community, including eight of the top 10 in the UK. The service offers significant advantages in cost centre and project code transaction attribution, travel policy compliance and on-line management information capability. The system can also provide a complete on-line C02 emissions report using multi-modal comparative data.
In 2010, Evolvi helped TMCs arrange over 4.25m rail journeys for their customers, confirming Evolvi’s leadership in the TMC rail sector.
