MAIDSTONE COMPANY WINS PRESTIGIOUS MANUFACTURING AWARD

South East winners announced in the EEF Future Manufacturing Awards 2011
GP Acoustics UK Limited has been announced as the winner of the EEF South East Region Innovative Operating Practices Award, sponsored by JAM Recruitment, in a ceremony held at Mercedes Benz World in Surrey.
The Maidstone based loudspeaker manufacturer won the award for coming up with a very interesting, innovative and out-of-the-box idea of producing a new loudspeaker made of composite material, which greatly improved acoustic performance. The annual awards are hosted by EEF, the manufacturers’ organisation, and recognise excellence in enterprise, innovation, environmental performance and skills development among UK manufacturers.
