Message and marketing meet at Birmingham

With the public transport industy coverging on Birmingham for the EuroBus Expo event, Harvest has been supporting its client Parkeon through a multi-channel PR campaign focused on communicating the benefits of its market leading technology.

Harvest developed and implemented a PR strategy that included arranging for a government minister to visit the company on its stand. The industry media were targeted with a photo and interview opportunity celebrating a milestone success for the company and a press pack was prepared detailing some significant contract gains.

In addition, Harvest worked with its associate design agency, Fireworx, to develop a new corporate advertisement targeting the trade media and highlighting the company's USPs over its competitors.

One of the key objectives was to connect with significant stakeholders at the event and this was achieved when Transport Minister Norman Baker met with Parkeon Transit MD Owen Griffith to discuss industry issues and launch the new Centro smartcard initiative.
