iPERL Official International Launch, The Tate Modern, London
....Shaped with a little help from Harvest
Client: Sensus
Event: Launch of iPERL - a unique, smart, flexible and efficient innovation in smart water metering technology.
Location: The Tate Modern, London
Launched at Tate Modern, with the support of Harvest’s professional event management team, the unveiling of iPERL provided a high profile platform for Sensus to reach its key customers with news of an industry-leading innovation. The stunning venue, with its memorable views of London’s skyline, contributed to a rewarding evening of great conversation, networking and entertainment that provided a stimulating opportunity to learn more about iPERL.
Planning:
Microsite
Harvest provided extensive organisational and logistical support in the run-up to the launch.
The international nature of the event created communication challenges, but Harvest addressed these through a fully-interactive password protected microsite that enabled invitees from around the world to register to attend and also to gain access to travel and hotel information. The microsite was used to send updates and industry discussion points in the run-up to the event and to communicate a detailed programme for the evening. It proved to be a very successful communication tool for both the client and their customers and was a key element in introducing the iPERL brand identity.
Harvest monitored registrations on a daily basis – including special dietary and mobility requests (also handled via the microsite) – and provided Sensus with a daily report.
Event Details
Working closely with the marketing team at Sensus, Harvest ensured that every stage of the event was planned meticulously – paying particular attention to the detail that makes such a difference in creating a positive and lasting impression.

The Harvest team, led by Charlotte Vine, liaised directly with Tate Modern, ensuring that the right ambience was created for an evening event and organising the necessary production and mood lighting requirements, onsite staffing, gallery access, background music and live entertainment, food stations and drinks on each level (the champagne reception alongside crudités displayed on ice was a winner at The Tate!).
A detailed briefing document covering the different elements of the events, with timings, was provided to key Sensus personnel. Harvest also organised the design and production of the delegate badges.
The Event:
Managing the reception desk and ensuring adherence to the schedule, the Harvest team maintained close contact with both Sensus and Tate Modern throughout the evening, ensuring that timings were met and promotional opportunities optimised.
Additional support:
In addition to event management, Harvest also provided copywriting support for the invitation and covering letter to delegates, the product brochure, speeches and the event microsite.
